Pad Essence contains 4% Houttuynia cordate extract, a well-known soothing ingredient in Korean cosmetics. The extract contains flavonoids (quercetin, quercitrin, hyperoside, rutin, afzelin and apigenin), which have pronounced anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. They help to cope with redness and irritation of the skin, as well as speed up the healing process of acne and inflammation.
